UUFTC’s standing committees function year round. In addition there are ad-hoc committees and task forces that typically set up for specific purpose and disband after that purpose has been met, i.e., Pledge Drive, Fundraising, and others as needed.
Standing Committees
Membership
The Membership Committee helps to welcome individuals who are new to our community and mentor them through the various stages of their early involvement. It also develops procedures and activities to nurture the membership.
Program
The Program Committee develops and presents Sunday services – incorporating music, readings, discussion, and meditation – that embody Unitarian Universalist principles, nourishing the mind and spirit of our diverse attendees. The committee also collaborates on other small groups activities.
Nominating
The Nominating Committee is responsible to identify and recommend potential members for the Board of Trustees, including the Secretary and Treasurer. In addition, it recommends two nominating Committee members, all to be elected at the annual congregational meeting.
Caring
The Caring Team provides attention and support to Fellowship members and friends who experience sickness, trauma, or loss.
Ad hoc Committees and Task Forces
Technical Crew – Organizes and provides technical support for services and events.
Pledge Drive - Develops, plans and implements annual pledge drive.
Fundraising - Develops, plans and implements various fundraising projects to support the Fellowship’s mission.
Music – Develops music for Sunday services and other events as needed.
Other ad hoc committees or task forces may be appointed by the Board from time to time for other tasks and activities as needed.
