UUFTC Participation
As a part of this church, this Fellowship – whether a Member or a Friend – you are encouraged to participate. What does that mean? It means that you will add your voice to discussions about things like programs, projects and services. It means you will take part in or lead activities or building improvement projects. It means you are part of a community, a family and that you will support this community by your presence, your voice and your financial contributions in the best way you are able.
Ten Great Reasons for Joining a UU Community
You will find inspiration and support to…
1 lead a life of integrity through universal principles that uplift courage and compassion
2 expand your heart and mind by learning from ancient wisdom, modern science, and the world’s great prophets and teachers
3 join a centuries-old liberal tradition of reason and imagination
4 embody worthiness and liberation for yourself and everyone you meet
5 make your religious home in a community that accepts and cares for your whole beautiful self
6 build relationships with people of all ages, identities, beliefs, and backgrounds

Steps to Membership
For many of us, the path to membership at UUFTC was not a straight line. If you would like to explore becoming a Member, please speak with the chair of the Membership Committee or with a Board Member. No matter what route you take, whether becoming a Friend or formally becoming a Member by signing the membership book, joining UUFTC is an important decision.
